Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  • Cream softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Incorporate the egg and vanilla extract into the butter mixture.
  • Gradually mix in the buttermilk until smooth.
  • Fold in the dry mixture until just combined.

Baking

  • Use a cookie scoop to drop rounded tablespoons of batter onto the prepared baking sheets.
