Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions in well-salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil over medium-high heat in a large pot.
  • Add the diced onion and sliced mushrooms, cooking for 8-10 minutes until soft.
  • Add the minced garlic and spices. Cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.

Cooking

  • Add butter to the pot and let it melt. Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir to combine, cooking for about 1 minute.
  • Slowly add the broth while stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes.

Serving

  • Turn off the heat and stir in sour cream.
  • Fold in the cooked noodles until evenly coated.
  • Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

For best results, sauté mushrooms and onions thoroughly for rich flavor. Stir in broth slowly to avoid lumps.
