  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Aids in achieving a golden crust.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare the breading station by placing beaten eggs in one bowl and bread crumbs in another.
  • Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness for uniform cooking.
  • Coat each chicken breast in the egg and then dredge in the bread crumbs.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Once hot, add the breaded chicken breasts and cook for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Transfer the chicken to a baking dish, spoon marinara sauce over the top, and sprinkle mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serving

  • Remove the Chicken Parm from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  • Place the hot chicken on the sub rolls.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

For extra crunch, double-coat the chicken by repeating the egg and bread crumb process. Allow completed sandwiches to rest before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
