Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat Your Oven: Set it to 350°F (175°C) so it’s ready when your casserole is assembled.
  • Shred the Turkey: Use your hands or two forks to pull apart cooked turkey into bite-sized pieces.
  • Chop Veggies: If using fresh vegetables instead of frozen, finely chop them to ensure even cooking.
  • Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded turkey, stuffing mix, frozen veggies, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Combine Sauces: In another bowl, whisk together chicken broth, cream of mushroom soup, and milk until smooth.
  • Mix Together: Pour the sauce over the turkey and stuffing mix and gently fold until everything is well combined.
  • Transfer to Baking Dish: Spoon the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until it’s bubbly and golden on top.

Serving

  • Check for Doneness: The casserole should be heated through, with edges slightly crispy.
  • Garnish: Sprinkle fresh parsley over the top for a pop of color and flavor.
  • Scoop and Enjoy: Serve hot! It pairs wonderfully with a crisp green salad or some crusty bread.
