Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients.
  • Chop the onion and green onions, and mince the garlic and ginger.
  • Cook your rice, if you haven’t already—follow package directions.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil over medium heat in a pan.
  • Add the chopped onion, cooking until translucent.
  • Stir in the garlic, ginger, and ground turkey, breaking it apart as it browns.
  • In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and cornstarch. Pour into the pan.
  • Let everything simmer, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens.

Serving

  • Fluff the cooked rice and divide it into bowls.
  • Top with the teriyaki turkey mix.
  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes
