Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and utensils.
  • Slice the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
  • Mince the garlic and ginger, setting them aside for later use.

Cooking

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, approximately 5–7 minutes.
  • Once the chicken is nearly done, add the minced garlic and ginger sautéing for an additional 1–2 minutes.
  • Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken, stirring to coat all pieces evenly.
  • Allow the sauce to simmer gently for 3–5 minutes until thickened.

Serving

  • Remove the skillet from the heat and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
  • Serve the Teriyaki Chicken immediately, over rice or alongside steamed vegetables.

Notes

For extra tenderness, marinate the chicken in teriyaki sauce for 30 minutes before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
