  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced for added flavor.
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce For moisture and tanginess.
  • 1 cup Cheese Use your favorite type for topping.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  • Chop the pepper tops and onion finely.
  • Cook rice according to the package instructions and set aside.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, sauté the chopped onion and garlic over medium heat until soft.
  • Add the ground turkey to the skillet, cooking until browned thoroughly.
  • Stir in the cooked rice, chopped bell pepper tops, and tomato sauce, then season as desired.
  • Fill each bell pepper with the prepared mixture, pressing down gently.
  • Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and top with cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the peppers are tender.

Serving

  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Use fresh bell peppers for the best texture. You can prep the filling ahead of time for quick meals. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
