Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Hull and dice fresh strawberries into small pieces.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine diced strawberries with granulated sugar and lemon juice. Toss gently until evenly coated.
  • Set aside for about 10-15 minutes to allow strawberries to release their juices.

Cook/Assemble

  • In another bowl, combine softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  • Add vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  • Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is light and airy.
  • Layer the ingredients in jars, starting with a spoonful of the cream mixture at the bottom.
  • Add a layer of pound cake pieces, followed by a layer of the strawberry mixture. Repeat layering until jars are filled, finishing with the cream mixture on top.

Serve

  • Chill the jars for about 30 minutes to 1 hour to set the layers and enhance flavors.
  • Top with extra whipped topping, fresh strawberry slices, and a sprig of mint before serving.
  • Enjoy immediately or store in the fridge until ready to serve.

Notes

These jars make a great make-ahead dessert for parties—prepare them a day in advance! For best results, use fresh strawberries that are firm and vibrant red.
