Preparation

  • Wash the strawberries thoroughly under running water.
  • Remove the green tops and slice the strawberries into halves or quarters.
  • If desired, place the sliced strawberries in a bowl and sprinkle a little honey or maple syrup for added sweetness, letting it sit for a few minutes.

Cooking

  • In a blender or food processor, combine the sliced strawberries, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  • Blend until smooth, ensuring the strawberries are fully incorporated and the mixture is creamy.
  • Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if necessary.

Serving

  • Transfer the yogurt mixture to a freezer-safe container.
  • Cover the container with a lid or plastic wrap to prevent freezer burn.
  • Freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.
  • Remove from the freezer and let sit for a few minutes to soften before scooping and serving.

Notes

Use ripe strawberries for sweetness. For a creamier texture, blend longer. Store in an airtight container for freshness. Serve with granola or fresh mint for added flavor.
