  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt Or use a dairy-free yogurt alternative.
  • 2 tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup Adjust to taste for sweetness.
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract Enhances flavor.
  • 1 pinch Salt Balances sweetness.
  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries Sliced, with a few reserved for topping.

Preparation

  • Gather your ingredients.
  • Slice the fresh strawberries.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the rolled oats and a pinch of salt.

Cooking/Assembling

  • In another bowl, mix the milk, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the milk mixture over the dry oats and fold gently to coat.
  • Layer in the sliced strawberries, reserving a few for topping.

Serving

  • Divide the mixture into jars or containers.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • The next morning, stir, top with reserved strawberries, and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, let oats soak overnight. This recipe can be personalized with other fruits or nut butter. Store leftovers in airtight containers for up to 3 days.
