  • Wash and chop the bell peppers and onion.

Cooking

  • Add the steak and cook until browned, approximately 5–7 minutes.
  • Remove the steak and set aside; in the same skillet, sauté the bell peppers, onion, and garlic until tender, about 3–4 minutes.
  • Stir in the rice and cook for an additional 2 minutes, mixing everything well.
  • Add in the queso, stirring until melted and combined.

Serving

  • Return the steak to the skillet, mixing it into the rice and queso blend.
  • Allow everything to warm through, approximately 2–3 minutes.
  • Serve immediately for best texture and flavor.
