  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced, for aromatic flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce Adds umami taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper Provides necessary heat.

Optional Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon Red pepper flakes For a spicy kick.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder Adds a hint of sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon Honey To balance flavors.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh herbs For garnish (e.g. parsley or cilantro).

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cut the stew meat into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, minced garlic, black pepper, and optional ingredients like Worcestershire sauce and honey.
  • Toss the beef pieces in the marinade, allowing them to soak in the flavors for at least 15-20 minutes.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Once hot, add the marinated beef in a single layer, frying for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown on the outside.
  • Check doneness; the internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C) for medium rare. Stir occasionally for even cooking.

Serving

  • Remove the skillet from heat, allowing the bites to rest for a minute.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm with your favorite sides.

Notes

For best results, marinate longer than 15 minutes, allow meat to rest before serving, and cook in batches to avoid steaming. Can be made spicy, gluten-free, or healthier with air frying.
