For Assembly

  • 4 pieces Burger buns Hold all the delicious layers together.
  • 4 leaves Lettuce Fresh garnishes to balance the burger's richness.
  • 1 medium Tomato, sliced Provides freshness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Prepare your sandwich area by laying out burger buns, lettuce, and tomato slices.

Cooking

  • Dip shrimp into the panko breadcrumbs, ensuring they are well-coated.
  • Place the shrimp on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • While the shrimp is cooking, mix the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha together for the spicy sauce.

Serving

  • Once the shrimp is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes.
  • Spread the spicy sauce generously on each burger bun.
  • Add lettuce, followed by the crispy shrimp and fresh tomato slices. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra crunch, try an air fryer to cook the shrimp! Batch cook shrimp ahead of time to save on prep during busy nights. To prevent sogginess, serve the burgers immediately after assembling.
