  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Earthy aroma and flavor that enhances the chicken.

Main Ingredient

  • 1 lb Crispy chicken tenders Provides protein and satisfying crunch.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients and necessary tools (cutting board, knife, and serving plates).
  • Thaw the frozen corn if needed and rinse the canned black beans under cold water.
  • Slice the tomatoes into thin rounds and set aside.
  • Prepare the southwest sauce by mixing mayonnaise, salsa, milk, taco seasoning, and cumin in a bowl. Mix well until combined and set aside.

Cook/Assemble

  • Cook the crispy chicken tenders according to package directions until golden and heated through, about 15-20 minutes.
  • While the chicken is cooking, lay out the tortillas on a clean surface or plate.
  • Spread a generous layer of the southwest sauce evenly on each tortilla.
  • Once the chicken tenders are done, place 1-2 tenders in the center of each tortilla.
  • Top with romaine lettuce, sliced tomatoes, corn, black beans, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Wrap tightly by folding one side over the filling, then rolling the tortilla away from you.

Serve

  • Once all wraps are assembled, slice them in half diagonally for easy eating.
  • Serve immediately with additional southwest sauce on the side for dipping.
  • Consider adding extra toppings or garnishes, such as avocado or fresh cilantro, for added flavor.

Notes

Best pairings include sweet potato fries or a simple green salad. Assemble the wraps right before serving for maximum freshness.
