  • 1 medium lemon Cut into wedges for serving.
  • to taste salt and black pepper Essential seasonings.
  • 1 medium cucumber Thinly sliced for crunch.
  • 1 medium ripe tomato Sliced for juiciness.
  • 1 medium avocado Sliced for creaminess.
  • 4 pieces radishes Thinly sliced for a peppery crunch.

Preparation

  • Slice the bagels in half lengthwise to prepare them for assembly.
  • Toast the bagels until lightly golden brown for an optional crispy texture.
  • Generously apply cream cheese onto the bottom half of each toasted bagel.
  • Layer on thinly sliced lox or smoked salmon over the cream cheese.
  • Add red onion slices, capers, and fresh dill or any of your preferred toppings.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper over the toppings for added flavor.
  • Place the top half of the bagel over the filled bottom half.
  • Plate the bagels with lemon slices or wedges on the side.
