  • Rinse the 16 oz. of Bella mushrooms under cold water to remove any dirt, then pat them dry with a clean towel.
  • Slice each mushroom evenly to ensure a uniform cooking experience.
  • Gather your olive oil (or salted butter) and kosher salt for straightforward assembly.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil (or salted butter) over medium heat (about 350°F or 175°C).
  • Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet once the oil is shimmering or the butter is melted.
  • Sprinkle the mushrooms with 1 teaspoon of kosher salt to enhance their rich flavor.
  • Sauté for about 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mushrooms are golden brown and tender.

Serving

  • Remove the sautéed mushrooms from heat and let cool for a couple of minutes.
