  • 1 lb roll breakfast sausage This is the star of our rolls, adding delicious flavor and a hearty filling.
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened It brings a creamy texture that perfectly complements the sausage.

For the Rolls

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls (8 ounces) These flaky rolls wrap everything together, providing that irresistible crunch.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and crumbled, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  • In a large bowl, mix the cooked sausage and softened cream cheese until well combined. Set aside.

Assembly & Baking

  • Open the cans of crescent rolls and separate them into triangles.
  • Place a generous spoonful of the sausage and cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll up each crescent, starting from the wide end, and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure the tips are tucked under to prevent filling from leaking out.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Serving

  • Once baked, remove the rolls from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes on a wire rack.
  • Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or even a drizzle of hot sauce for a kick!

Notes

Use fresh crescent rolls, and consider adding herbs like chives or parsley for a flavor boost. These rolls freeze well, so double the recipe and save some for later!
