Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt until evenly combined.

Mixing

  • In a saucepan over low heat, melt chopped chocolate and unsalted butter together, stirring until smooth.
  • Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until completely dissolved.
  • Add eggs to the warm chocolate mixture and whisk until fully blended.
  • Stir in tahini and vanilla extract until the batter is well mixed.
  • Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture.

Baking

  • Transfer the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  • Drizzle additional tahini over the top of the brownie batter and use a knife to create swirls.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.

Cooling

  • Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan, then lift out using the parchment paper and cut into squares.

Notes

For best results, don't overmix the batter after adding the flour. Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor. Experiment with nut butters or add chocolate chips for a variation.
