  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Enhances sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds warmth and depth to flavor.
  • 1 pie crust pie crust Store-bought or homemade.
  • 2 tablespoons butter Dot over the filling for richness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine rhubarb, strawberries, blueberries, sugar, flour, salt, and vanilla extract. Toss gently to mix.
  • Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie pan.
  • Pour the berry mixture into the prepared crust and dot with butter.
  • Cover with another layer of pie crust if desired, crimping the edges to seal. Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.

Baking

  • Bake for 15 minutes until edges are set.
  • Lower the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for an additional 30-40 minutes, or until filling is bubbly and crust is golden brown.

Cooling

  • Once baked, let the pie cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

Ensure ingredients are at room temperature for best results. Brush top crust with egg wash for a shiny finish. Pair with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for indulgence.
