Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or line with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the chocolate chip cookie mix, softened butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms, ensuring it’s well combined but not overmixed.
  • In another bowl, combine the fudge brownie mix, water, oil, and eggs. Stir until smooth.

Cooking Assembly

  • Press half of the cookie dough into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • Unwrap and place the miniature Reese's Peanut Butter Cups on top of the cookie layer.
  • Pour the brownie batter over the Reese's Cups, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the remaining cookie dough on top of the brownie layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center reveals moist crumbs.
