Ingredients

For the meatballs

  • 1 lb ground chicken Offers a lean protein source that keeps the meatballs moist.
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs Light and crispy, they help give structure and texture to the meatballs.
  • 1 large egg Acts as a binder, ensuring the meatballs hold together perfectly during cooking.
  • 2 tbsp ranch seasoning mix Brings a burst of tangy flavor that makes each bite irresistible.
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley Adds a vibrant green touch and freshness to the dish.
  • 1 tsp minced dried onion Provides a mild sweetness and depth without overpowering the other flavors.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Enhances the overall savory profile with warm, aromatic notes.
  • 1 tsp salt Essential for elevating all the flavors in the meat mixture.
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper Adds just the right amount of heat and complexity to the meatballs.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil Used for pan-frying to achieve a crisp golden exterior while keeping the inside juicy.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the oil.
  • Use a spoon or your hands to gently mix everything together, being careful not to overmix.
  • Scoop about 1 inch to 1 1/2 inches of the mixture to form meatballs and roll them in your palms.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.
  • Carefully place the meatballs into the skillet for cooking.
  • Cook the meatballs for approximately 10 minutes, turning them after 5 minutes for even browning.
  • Ensure they reach an internal temperature of 165°F using a thermometer before serving.

Serving

  • Pair the meatballs with ranch dressing or a prepared ranch dip for dipping.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding chopped green onions or a splash of hot sauce to the meat mixture. These meatballs can also be baked at 400°F for about 20 minutes instead of frying.
