Vegetables

  • 1 medium Bell pepper Sliced, adds crunch and color.
  • 2 cups Broccoli florets Provides texture and nutrients.
  • 1 medium Carrot Julienned for added sweetness.
  • 1 cup Snap peas For a crisp bite.
  • 2 each Green onions Chopped, used for garnish.
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds Optional garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Thinly slice your beef into strips approximately ΒΌ inch thick.
  • Chop the vegetables: slice the bell pepper, julienne the carrot, and trim the snap peas.
  • Minced garlic and grated ginger should be ready in a small bowl.
  • Gather all your ingredients and sauces for efficient cooking.
  • Heat your pan on medium-high to ensure a good stir fry.

Cooking

  • Pour vegetable oil into the hot pan and let it heat for about 30 seconds.
  • Add the sliced beef and sear for about 2-3 minutes until browned.
  • Stir in minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for 1 more minute until aromatic.
  • Add the bell pepper, broccoli, carrot, and snap peas, stir-frying for 3-4 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  • Mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and honey in a bowl, then pour over beef and vegetables. Stir to combine and cook for another 2 minutes.

Serving

  • Turn off the heat and let the stir fry sit for a minute for flavors to meld.
  • If desired, serve over steamed rice.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  • Plate and enjoy while hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in airtight containers for up to 3 days. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
