Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
  • In another large bowl, whisk together the eggs, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, vegetable oil, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture in 2-3 batches, stirring until the batter is smooth and well combined.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, smoothing the top.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Frosting
