  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil Provides a warm, nutty aroma.
  • 1 tablespoon Grated Ginger Adds zing and freshness.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Provides savory flavor.
  • 2 stalks Green Onions Chopped for garnish and crunch.
  • 1 cup Mushrooms Optional for extra earthy goodness.
  • 2 cups Spinach or Bok Choy Optional for added nutrients.
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar Optional, brightens the flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Oil or Red Pepper Flakes Optional for a spicy kick.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients and chop the green onions. If using, slice mushrooms and greens.
  • Measure out the chicken broth and soy sauce.

Cooking

  • In a large pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Pour in the chicken broth, soy sauce, and any additional veggie ingredients.
  • Bring to a boil, then add the potstickers. Let it simmer for about 8-10 minutes.

Serving

  • Once the potstickers are heated through and float to the surface, it’s time to serve!
  • Ladle into bowls and garnish with chopped green onions. Enjoy!

Notes

You can switch up fillings for the dumplings for variety. For a creamier texture, mix in a teaspoon of cornstarch with water.
