  • 4 sticks Skewers Wooden or metal, soak if wooden.
  • 4 pieces Warm pita bread For wrapping and enjoyment.
  • 1 cup Yogurt sauce Creamy addition for dipping.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather your ingredients and skewers.
  • In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.
  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  • Form the turkey mixture into small balls, about 1-2 inches in diameter.

Cooking

  • Preheat your grill or air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Thread the turkey balls onto the skewers, securing tightly.
  • Cook on the grill for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown and cooked through.
  • If using an air fryer, place skewers in the basket and cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  • Check that the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C) for safety.

Serving

  • Remove the kabobs from skewers and place them on a serving platter.
  • Warm up your pita bread briefly on the grill or in the microwave.
  • Serve the kabobs with yogurt sauce on the side for dipping.
  • Pair with fresh veggies or a side salad for a complete meal.

Notes

For best results, use a digital thermometer to check turkey doneness. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Freezing instructions: Uncooked kabobs can be frozen for up to 3 months.
