Ingredients
  

For the Noodles

  • 8 ounces Spaghetti or Rice Noodles Base of the dish

For the Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter Use creamy peanut butter for best results
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or Maple Syrup For sweetness
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Minced
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil Adds depth to the sauce

For Garnish

  • 2 stalks Green Onions Chopped for garnish
  • 1/4 cup Crushed Peanuts For texture and flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil, then add your noodles.
  • Mince garlic and ginger, and measure out peanut butter, soy sauce, honey or maple syrup, and sesame oil.
  • Chop green onions and crush peanuts for garnishing when serving.

Cooking

  • Cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Once cooked, drain the noodles and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together peanut butter, soy sauce, honey or maple syrup, minced garlic, and ginger. Add water to reach your desired consistency.
  • Combine the cooked noodles with the sauce and toss until evenly coated.
  • If desired, quickly sauté the mixture in a pan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes to warm through.

Serving

  • Serve the coated noodles in bowls.
  • Sprinkle chopped green onions and crushed peanuts on top.
  • Enjoy your bowl of Peanut Butter Noodles.

Notes

For best results, use natural peanut butter with no added sugars. Adjust soy sauce to taste and add red pepper flakes for heat if desired. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
