Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare a baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and creamy peanut butter until smooth.
  • Add in the brown sugar and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
  • Add one egg and vanilla extract, mixing until the batter is creamy and smooth.
  • In another bowl, combine all-purpose flour and baking powder.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients. Stir until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Cooking

  • In a separate bowl, prepare the brownie layer by melting the unsalted butter and mixing it with cocoa powder and granulated sugar until well blended.
  • Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
  • Gradually stir in the flour and salt. Mix until well combined.
  • In your greased or lined baking pan, spread the cookie dough evenly on the bottom.
  • Top the cookie layer with the brownie batter, swirling gently to combine.
  • Sprinkle chopped Reese’s Cups and additional chocolate chips on top.
  • Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until slightly firm to the touch.

Serving
