  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil For sautéing garlic.
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced Delivers strong aroma and flavor.
  • 1 cup Milk Creates a creamy base without heaviness.
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese Adds richness to the sauce.
  • to taste Salt Essential for flavor.
  • to taste Pepper Essential for flavor.
  • 2 Tbsp Chopped parsley For garnish.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients: pasta, olive oil, garlic, milk, Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
  • Mince the garlic and chop the parsley, setting them aside.
  • Measure out your pasta and prepare your pot.

Cooking

  • In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat until shimmering, about 2 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic to the pot and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the pasta along with milk and seasonings. Stir and bring to a simmer.
  • Cover the pot and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until the pasta is al dente.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted.

Serving

  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Serve warm, garnished with fresh chopped parsley.

Notes

For extra creaminess, reserve a bit of pasta water before draining. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days. Can freeze for up to two months.
