  • 1 cup Chopped Almonds You can substitute with any nuts of your choice.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Enhances overall flavor.

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup Peanut Butter Can substitute with almond butter for nut-free option.
  • 1/2 cup Honey Maple syrup can be used as a vegan alternative.

Add-ins

  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips For sweetness; optional.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: oats, chopped almonds, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the wet ingredients: peanut butter and honey until well blended.

Cooking

  • Pour the peanut butter mixture into the bowl with dry ingredients.
  • Add in chocolate chips, and stir until everything is evenly coated.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, press it down firmly into an even layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.

Serving

  • Allow the granola bars to cool completely in the baking dish before cutting.
  • Once cooled, lift the bars out using the parchment paper and slice into desired shapes.
  • Enjoy as a snack or breakfast on the run!

Notes

Press the mixture firmly into the baking dish. Store in an airtight container for up to one week. Freeze for longer storage. Reheat for warm granola bars.
