  • 24 pieces Oreo cookies Crushed for the crust
  • 1/2 cup butter Melted

For the Filling

  • 8 ounces cream cheese Softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup peanut butter Creamy style
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar For sweetness
  • 12 ounces Cool Whip Divided
  • 1 package instant chocolate pudding For texture and flavor
  • 2 cups milk Cold for pudding preparation

Preparation

  • Set aside 5 Oreos for topping, then crush the remaining Oreos finely.
  • Mix the melted butter with the Oreo crumbs, then press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan to form the crust.

Filling

  • Beat the cream cheese until smooth; then add half of the Cool Whip, peanut butter, and powdered sugar, and continue beating until completely smooth.
  • Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the prepared Oreo crust.
  • Prepare the instant chocolate pudding by mixing it with the cold milk according to package instructions, then spread the pudding over the set peanut butter layer.

Final Assembly

  • Top the pie with the remaining Cool Whip and sprinkle with crumbled Oreos or chocolate shavings as desired.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for a couple of hours before slicing and serving.

Notes
