Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet; cook for about 6-7 minutes until golden brown.
  • Flip and cook for another 6-7 minutes until fully cooked (internal temp of 165°F or 74°C).
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  • Add minced garlic, followed by Dijon mustard and red pepper flakes; sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, stirring to combine; bring to a simmer.
  • Lower the heat and stir in heavy cream, mixing until smooth; return the chicken to the skillet to coat in the sauce for 2-3 minutes.
