Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) to ensure it’s hot enough for cooking.
  • Slice the chicken breast into thin strips to allow for even cooking and maximum flavor absorption.
  • In a bowl, combine the chicken strips with olive oil and shawarma seasoning, mixing well to coat every piece.
  • Let the seasoned chicken marinate for about 10 minutes while you prepare other ingredients.
  • Prepare your pizza dough according to package instructions, rolling it out to fit your pizza stone or baking tray.

Cooking/Assembling

  • Place the marinated chicken in the air fryer and cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway through until it’s golden and cooked through.
  • While the chicken cooks, spread a generous layer of hummus over the rolled-out pizza dough.
  • Once the chicken is done, remove it from the air fryer and evenly distribute it on the hummus-topped dough.
  • Add halved cherry tomatoes, diced cucumber, sliced red onion, and sprinkle with feta cheese.

Serving

  • Transfer the prepared pizza to a baking sheet and place it in the oven at 425°F (218°C) for 8-10 minutes until the edges are crisp and the toppings are warm.
  • Carefully remove the pizza and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges for that zesty squeeze just before eating.
