For the Topping

  • 2 cups Mini marshmallows for that gooey topping.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a baking dish.
  • In a bowl, melt the butter and let it cool slightly.
  • Mix in sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until well combined.
  • Add vanilla extract and mix until smooth.

Cooking

  • Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  • Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle mini marshmallows on top.
  • Return to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes until marshmallows are puffed and golden.

Serving

  • Allow the brownies to cool in the dish for at least 10 minutes.
  • Cut into squares and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

For best results, let brownies cool completely before cutting. Store leftovers in an airtight container. Can be frozen for up to three months.
