Dressing Ingredients

  • 1 lime Lime juice Zesty acidity to balance the sweetness.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Healthy fat for a smooth dressing.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Essential seasoning for flavor enhancement.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper Essential seasoning for flavor enhancement.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Peel and julienne the ripe mangoes.
  • Finely shred the red cabbage and grate the carrots.
  • Dice the red bell pepper and chop the cilantro.

Mixing

  • In a large bowl, combine the julienned mango, shredded cabbage, grated carrots, diced red bell pepper, and chopped cilantro.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Drizzle the dressing over the slaw mixture and toss gently until coated.

Serving

  • Transfer the mango slaw to a serving dish.
  • Let it sit for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Use ripe mangoes for the best flavor. Dress the slaw just before serving to maintain crispness. Can add nuts or seeds for crunch.
