Preparation

  • Add the mango cubes and mint leaves to a food processor or high-speed blender. Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Mixing

  • Add seltzer water and lime juice to the blended mango and mint mixture. Blend again for up to 10 seconds until well combined.
  • Pour the mango mixture into a large pitcher and incorporate white rum if using. Stir vigorously for about 15-30 seconds for even mixing.
  • Taste the mixture and add the appropriate amount of simple syrup, stirring again to ensure even sweetness.

Serving

  • Pour the refreshing mixture into an ice-filled glass and enjoy chilled for optimal taste and texture!

Notes

Consider preparing the mango and mint mixture ahead of time and mixing in the sparkling water just before serving to keep it fizzy. Garnish with mint leaves or lime wedges for added appeal.
