Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and ensure your workspace is clean.
  • Line a baking dish or pan with parchment paper for easy removal and cleanup.
  • Chop your nuts or candy mix into smaller pieces for an enhanced texture.

Cooking

  • In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and light corn syrup over medium heat.
  • Stir continuously until the sugar has completely dissolved and the mixture starts to boil.
  • Once boiling, stop stirring and let it cook for about 4–5 minutes until it reaches a golden color.
  • Carefully remove from heat and immediately fold in the chopped nuts or candy mix.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly for an even texture.

Serving

  • Allow the Magic Candy to cool for at least 30 minutes so it can set properly.
  • Once cooled, lift the candy out of the dish using the parchment paper.
  • Cut into squares or rectangles, and serve as a delightful snack!

Notes

For added flavor, toast the nuts lightly in a pan before adding them. Store any leftovers in an airtight container to maintain freshness. Feel free to mix and match different nuts for varied flavors.
