Ingredients
  

For the Latte

  • 2 cups water For brewing the tea.
  • 2 tbsp loose Earl Grey tea or 2 tea bags Provides the distinct flavor and aroma.
  • 2 cups unsweetened plant milk (such as oat or almond) Use your preferred non-dairy milk.
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Enhances the flavor.

Preparation

  • Boil the water in a small saucepan or kettle.
  • Pour the hot water over the Earl Grey tea and steep for 3–5 minutes, adjusting steeping time for strength preference.
  • Remove tea leaves or tea bag once the tea is steeped to your liking.
  • In a small saucepan, gently heat the plant milk over medium-low heat until hot but not boiling.
  • Froth the warm milk using a handheld frother or whisk if desired.
  • Stir in maple syrup and vanilla extract into the hot tea until fully dissolved.
  • Pour the hot tea into a large mug and slowly add the warm (or frothed) plant milk on top.
  • Taste the latte and adjust sweetness if needed. Serve immediately while hot, optionally garnished with a light sprinkle of cinnamon.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, consider using high-quality loose-leaf Earl Grey tea. Spice up the drink with nutmeg or cinnamon for extra richness. Experiment with different plant milks for a unique taste.
