Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine lime juice, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  • Add chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Let sit for at least 15 minutes.
  • While the chicken marinates, dice the avocados and chop the cilantro. Set aside.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (approximately 375°F).

Cooking

  • Drizzle olive oil on the grill grates to prevent sticking.
  • Place marinated chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Remove chicken from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  • In a serving dish, arrange diced avocados and sprinkle chopped cilantro on top.

Serving

  • Slice the grilled chicken and place it over the avocados and cilantro.
  • Drizzle with additional lime juice if desired and serve immediately.
