Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until smooth.

Cooking

  • Pour the cake batter into the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.

Serving

  • Once the cake has cooled slightly, use a fork to poke holes all over the top.
  • Mix the lemonade and powdered sugar in a separate bowl.
  • Pour the lemonade mixture evenly over the cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
  • Let the cake cool completely, then slice and serve.

Notes

For fluffier cake, mix batter just until combined. Store leftovers in an airtight container to keep it moist. Consider chilling the cake before serving.
