  • 4 pieces Tortillas Sturdy base that holds everything together.
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese Melty goodness that binds the ingredients.
  • 1 cup Lettuce Fresh crunch for a balanced bite.
  • 1 medium Tomato Adds juiciness and freshness.
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream Creamy topping that elevates flavor.
  • 2 pieces Tostada shells Crispy layers for the perfect crunch.
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil or cooking spray For a perfect golden finish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  • Sprinkle taco seasoning over the beef and stir to combine. Let cook for about 5 minutes or until fragrant.
  • Prepare your veggies: shred lettuce, dice tomato, and set aside.
  • Gather all ingredients and tortillas, making sure you have everything within reach.

Cooking/Assembly

  • Warm tortillas on a dry skillet over low heat for about 30 seconds to soften them.
  • On one tortilla, layer seasoned beef, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and a spoonful of sour cream.
  • Top with a tostada shell for extra crunch, then layer with more cheese and an additional tortilla.
  • Carefully fold the edges of the tortilla toward the center to create a sealed wrap.
  • Spray the outside of the crunchwrap with olive oil.
  • Cook each side on medium heat for about 3-4 minutes or until golden and crispy.

Serving

  • Once cooked, remove from the skillet and let cool for a minute.
  • Slice in half to display the beautiful layers and colors.
  • Serve warm with additional toppings like avocado, salsa, or extra sour cream.
  • Enjoy immediately with your favorite side or salad!

Notes

For extra crunch, make sure to cook until each side is golden brown. Consider using shredded rotisserie chicken for a quicker option. Store leftover ingredients separately to maintain freshness.
