Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients to make the process smoother.
  • Rinse the rotini pasta under cold water, then cook in boiling water according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  • While the pasta cooks, dice the cucumber, bell pepper, and red onion. Halve the cherry tomatoes, and cube the mozzarella cheese.
  • Slice the olives and chop the fresh basil.

Cooking and Assembling

  • Once the pasta is cooked, drain and rinse it under cold water to stop the cooking process.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta with the chopped vegetables, mozzarella cheese, and olives.
  • Drizzle the Italian dressing over the pasta mix, add salt and pepper to taste, and toss everything gently.

Serving

  • Transfer the pasta salad to a serving bowl and garnish with fresh basil.

Notes
