Preparation

  • Remove any wilted outer leaves from the cabbage.
  • Slice the cabbage into 1-inch thick steaks, trying to keep them intact.
  • Place the steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cooking

  • Brush both sides of each cabbage steak generously with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle garlic salt and black pepper evenly on both sides.
  • Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  • Once out of the oven, let the steaks cool for a few minutes.

Notes
