  • In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Allow it to sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  • In a separate bowl, mix flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Stir until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for 30 minutes, or until doubled in size.

Cooking

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone inside to heat up.
  • Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out to your desired thickness on a floured surface.
  • Transfer the rolled-out dough onto parchment paper for easy handling.
  • Spread shredded mozzarella over the surface, followed by crumbled feta and sausage, distributing them evenly.
  • Drizzle honey over the toppings and sprinkle red pepper flakes if using.
  • Carefully slide the pizza (on the parchment) onto the hot pizza stone.
