  • Mince the garlic cloves and chop the fresh cilantro.
  • Juice the lime, ensuring to capture all the tangy goodness.

Cooking & Assembling

  • In the mixing bowl, combine the canned tomatoes, onion, jalapeños, garlic, lime juice, and cilantro.
  • Add the granulated sugar, salt, cumin, and chipotle chili powder, adjusting seasoning to taste.
  • Mix everything together until well integrated, ensuring the colors are vibrant and inviting.

Serving

  • Transfer your salsa to a serving bowl or an airtight container for storage.
  • Garnish with extra cilantro for a pop of color if desired.

Notes

For a smoother salsa, blend all ingredients briefly. Adjust spice levels by removing seeds from jalapeños. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week. Salsa tastes even better after a day in the fridge as the flavors develop.
