  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter Creates creaminess and adds a nutty essence.
  • 2 cloves Garlic (finely minced) Fresh garlic brings a kick of flavor.
  • 1-2 teaspoons Sriracha Sauce For those who like it spicy, adjust to taste.
  • 1 pinch Ground Pepper Adds warmth.
  • 1/4 cup Water Helps adjust the sauce’s consistency.
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch Used to thicken the sauce.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients on the counter.
  • Mince the garlic cloves finely.
  • Measure out the soy sauce, molasses, and other ingredients.

Cooking/Assembling

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, molasses, and sesame oil.
  • Stir in the minced garlic, rice vinegar, peanut butter, and Sriracha.
  • Whisk until everything is smoothly blended.
  • In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with a bit of water to dissolve it, then add to the main mixture.
  • Transfer to a saucepan over medium heat; stir until the sauce thickens (about 2-3 minutes).

Serving

  • Once thickened, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  • Taste and adjust any flavors if needed.
  • Serve as a dipping sauce or drizzle over your favorite dishes!

Notes

Make a double batch and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks. Freezing is possible for up to three months.
