  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper Balances the flavors.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cut the French bread into 1-inch cubes for even cooking.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss the cubed bread, olive oil, and all the seasonings until well coated.

Cooking

  • Spread the seasoned bread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp, shaking halfway through.

Serving

  • Once cooled, your homemade croutons are ready to add to salads or soups.

Notes

For best results, use uniform bread cubes, avoid overcrowding the baking sheet, and store in an airtight container for up to a week. Can be frozen for up to three months.
