  • Combine the ingredients. Place all ingredients into a medium saucepan.
  • Cover and simmer. Cook over medium-low heat for 15-20 minutes until the apples are soft and starting to break down.
  • Blend the mixture. Transfer the cooked mixture to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth or until it reaches your desired consistency.
  • Serve and enjoy. Enjoy the applesauce warm or chill it in the refrigerator. The sauce will thicken as it cools.
  • For thicker sauce. If you prefer a super thick sauce, pass the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove excess liquid.

Notes
