Preparation

  • In the multicooker (or a saucepan), heat the oil on the sear setting.
  • Add the garlic and cook, continuously stirring for about 1 minute.
  • Stir in coconut milk, tomato paste, flour, garam masala, cayenne, coriander, paprika, turmeric, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir and cook for about 2 minutes until thoroughly mixed.
  • Add in chicken, stir well to combine.
  • Cover and cook for 5-6 hours on low.
  • Serve over rice and with naan bread if desired.

Notes

For deeper flavor, sauté the garlic for longer but ensure it doesn’t burn. Feel free to marinate the chicken in the spices for a few hours or overnight for intensified flavor.
