For the sliders

  • 12 pieces Hawaiian rolls Sweet and fluffy rolls
  • 1 pound Roast beef Savory protein
  • 8 slices Provolone cheese Creamy cheese that melts well
  • 1 cup Sautéed onions Adds sweetness and aroma
  • 1 cup Sautéed bell peppers Provides color and crunch
  • 4 tablespoons Butter For moisture and outer texture
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Adds savory depth
  • 1 tablespoon Horseradish sauce or mustard Optional for added kick

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and arrange the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  • Evenly distribute the roast beef over the bottom halves of the rolls.
  • Place the slices of Provolone cheese on top of the roast beef.
  • Add sautéed onions and bell peppers over the cheese.
  • Optionally spread horseradish sauce or mustard on the inside of the top roll halves.
  • Place the top halves of the rolls over the filling.
  • Melt butter in a small bowl and combine it with garlic powder, then brush this mixture over the tops of the rolls.

Baking

  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  • Let them cool slightly, then enjoy while warm!

Notes

For best results, ensure even layering of roast beef. Sauté onions and bell peppers with a pinch of salt for enhanced sweetness. Let the sliders rest before cutting for easier serving.
