  • 1 lb Ground Turkey Lean protein
  • 2 medium Zucchini Chopped into half-moons
  • 1 medium Onion Diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning For flavor
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil For cooking
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Wash and chop the zucchini into half-moons.
  • Dice the onion and mince the garlic.
  • Measure out the Italian seasoning and have your salt and pepper handy.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add onions and cook until they soften, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir in the garlic and ground turkey, cooking until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Toss in the zucchini and Italian seasoning, cooking until the zucchini is just tender, about 4-5 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, and give it a final stir.

Serving

  • Spoon the creamy turkey and zucchini mixture into bowls.
  • Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley or grated cheese.
  • Enjoy warm, ideally with crusty bread or over rice!

Notes
